Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds - sweet and spicy!

I want to convince my kids they need to carve more pumpkins so I can get more seeds!  While the usual dry roasted seeds with seasoning salt is always good, this recipe kicks it up a notch…or three!  If you like sweet and spicy, here you have it!

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients
  • Pumpkin Seeds (enough to cover a baking sheet when spread out, maybe 2 cups?)
  • 3 tsp Margarine
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • Dash of Salt and Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Melt butter in microwave in a mug or bowl.
  3. Add Worcestershire Sauce, Garlic Pepper, Frank's Red Hot and salt/pepper. Stir.
  4. Pour over pumpkin seeds in a bowl and stir to coat.
  5. Lay seeds on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes (until golden brown) stirring seeds every 10 min.
  7. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes to cool.
