I want to convince my kids they need to carve more pumpkins so I can get more seeds! While the usual dry roasted seeds with seasoning salt is always good, this recipe kicks it up a notch…or three! If you like sweet and spicy, here you have it!
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients
- Pumpkin Seeds (enough to cover a baking sheet when spread out, maybe 2 cups?)
- 3 tsp Margarine
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Frank's Red Hot Sauce
- Dash of Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Melt butter in microwave in a mug or bowl.
- Add Worcestershire Sauce, Garlic Pepper, Frank's Red Hot and salt/pepper. Stir.
- Pour over pumpkin seeds in a bowl and stir to coat.
- Lay seeds on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 20 minutes (until golden brown) stirring seeds every 10 min.
- Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes to cool.
Mmmm! Sounds yummy. I love Franks 🙂
We look forward to roasting the pumpkin seeds almost as much as we look forward to carving our pumpkins. Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe.
