Rock On, My Son

My son wanted a few specific items on his list this year, and none of them were actually toys. For the first time, my 10 year old was more interested in gaming, books and electronics than Lego, cars or other items in the toy aisle.

Among them, was a headset for gaming (with a mic, to chat with friends, you see) and a separate headset for music and movie watching on his iPad. A tall order for Santa, or mom as the case may be, and a bit confusing for those new to headphones. When we were kids, a set of headphones consisted of the wire band and sponge padded headphones that came with our walkman (remember those?)  Now, the market is huge.

IconQ stands out from its competitors because they pay attention to design and detail. Rather than have a bright and clunky accessory, IconQ items promise sleek lines and they “Design for the complete experience, so the customer receives a beautiful product to take home.”

IconQ Boundless H1 Bluetooth Headphones

Features of the IconQ Boundless H1 include ,most notably that they’re of course wireless! Giving you a range of 33 feet, kids and adults can run, jump and dance without getting tangled. A built-in mic enables you to also grab your incoming calls too, though my 10 year old doesn’t need it. He loves his new headphones and I love that he doesn’t injure himself being yanked back by a cord he forgot was there (or was that just me that seemed to always have that happen as a kid?)

Available in black, slate, and white, IconQ Boundless H1 headphones are $49 US and currently only ship to US addresses.
