I’m a product junkie, whether that be lip gloss, body wash or fabric softener. I love it all, and am often experimenting with scents. Nellie’s products all stood up to our household mess and bonus – no chemicals or residue left behind. Here are some of my favorites:
Nellie’s Automatic Dish Nuggets ($11 USD) are phosphate free and clean my dishes like my usual brand – it’s noted though that soft water is recommended when using these, which we have.
Nellie’s All Natural One Soap ($13 USD), as the label states, can be used on items from dishes to dogs, and we tested it! While it washes my dishes in the sink just fine, I am keeping this as a dog shampoo because I love the minty smell! Our labradoodle being minty fresh is kind of a joy in my life.
The product I’ve used the most often is Nellie’s All-Natural Laundry Soda. I use laundry tabs 90% of the time, so I used this product more often than the rest because there’s many times when I’m washing a small load of laundry and using a full tab felt wasteful. This way, I could measure how much product to use. Admittedly I could buy a powder of my usual brand, but this one was here for testing of course! I had no issues with stain removal and felt that all my clothes came out clean.
I know you’ve seen Dryerballs before, but have you seen Dryerballs that have a space to insert Fragrance Sticks? Nellie’s Quick-Change Dryerballs ($20 USD) give you the ability to dry your clothes without fabric softener or sheets and now with the addition of a Nellie’s Fragrance Stick ($10 USD) you can add scents to your clothes in the dryer as well! I loved this idea and think it’s genius for those who don’t want to use fabric softeners (which I happen to love myself). I purposely don’t use fabric softener when testing out this system, but find that if I do use Dryerballs with fabric softener my drying time is decreased.
