I don’t recall anything else in recent memory that was as funny and “awwwwwe” inspiring as seeing my daughter’s face when she put on her very first pair of squeaky shoes. You know the type of shoes – with each step, hop, or skip a little one is followed by a squeak as she goes. I have wanted to get my daughter a pair of these for the longest time, and when What Squeaky Shoes! offered me one to review, I was happy to oblige.
We picked these Green Leather Sandals with Flowers by Sneak a Roos, in a size 5. I measured my daughter’s foot before hand, as you always should when ordering shoes online (I liked that What Squeaky Shoes! lists the measurements of each shoe size as well). A size 4 may have worked for her but I got a 5 to be safe. The 5’s are just a touch big but that doesn’t stop her from insisting on wearing them whenever she gets ahold of them.
Nevaeh loves her new shoes and it shows on her face every time she wears them as she squeak squeak squeaks around. I have to remember to have her wear these the next time I let her loose in a toy store, kind of like a cat with a bell collar don’t you think?
