Being a LeapFrog Mom here in Canada gives me the opportunity to check out new and favorite LeapFrog products in our household with the kids. Recently, my 6 year old received the new LeapFrog Leapster Explorer and he refused to share it with his little sister. Nevaeh wasn’t too concerned, though, because she had her own new LeapFrog learning toy to play with.
Using Scout as a guide, children ages 2-5 can learn the alphabet through a variety of ways. With 4 different options – finding the letter, recognizing letter sounds, making music using the letters as piano keys and then actually finding the letters that are called out – children can work at their own pace and skill level and build on it as they grow.
Nevaeh is still learning her letters, so we are on the very first step on this learning curve. She likes asking us for help in finding the letter and is thrilled when Scout tells her she’s right. As a parent, I love this learning toy!
