Bloom Putty has a great concept – playing with putty is a great stress reliever for adults and is of course super fun for little kids. When the putty happens to smell like peppermint, cake icing or bananas this can also have a stress-relieving effect. Kids, of course, don’t really need stress relief (well, we hope they don’t) so they just get the benefit of great smelling putty to play with.
We were sent the Banana Boat scent of Bloom Putty for the kids (and I!) to play with. My 5 year old thought it was pretty cool to have scented putty to play with and my 2 year old said “yum” which made me laugh and worry at the same time, “No eating the putty!” LOL
Really, though, I won’t panic if she happens to lick her hands (though seeing her face might be funny). Because of her allergies, I have to be extra cautious about items like this or even bath items (many natural bath products have almond oil in them I’ve noticed, yikes!)
Bloom Putty is – are you ready for it – Gluten-wheat, Casein-Dairy-Soy, Corn, Nut, and Latex Free! It’s also, of course, non-toxic so if the kids (or your husband, ha!) really like the smell and happen to take a chomp, no worries.
