Looking out my window when I started writing this post, we’re getting some much needed rain here in Saskatchewan today. Bring an agriculture-heavy province, our seeding, growing and harvesting season depends on the rain and sunshine. Truth be told, so do we all. We need that amazing sunshine on our skin (I need that vitamin D and serotonin for my brain!) and we need a rain to water our plants and gardens and feel the drops on our faces (puddle jumping optional).
We also, of course, need to make sure that we’re being sun-smart and protecting our skin from the damaging effects of the sun (mask tan lines are the worst) and, should we slip up, we need to protect and heal our skin from a sunburn. Then, of course, after the rain we have mosquitos and we need to make sure we protect our skin from that as well. If there’s one thing 2020/2021 has taught us (uh, one thing, many things, but carrying on…) it’s that we need to take steps to protect ourselves and those around us.
Avon recently sent me a summer care package and the timing was perfect! Now I can put everything they’ve sent to work and yes that includes the after-sun care because of course I got a sunburn on my face before doing a day of zoom meetings…of course I did. And, since Avon shared with me I wanted to make sure I could share with you, too! So, Avon has set aside this awesome care package for my readers to enter to win! Check it out below.
