Kerr’s Giveaway

Kerr’s was founded in 1895 by brothers Edward and Albert Kerr. After emigrating from Scotland, they opened a candy shop in St. Thomas, Ontario. Known for its quality and rich heritage, Kerr’s is an industry leader in Canadian confectionery.

If the name isn’t familiar, the iconic tartan bag design of some of Kerr’s classic candies definitely will be!

We were sent a delicious assortment of Kerr’s Candy and have actually gone out to purchase more of the delicious Kerr’s Taffy specifically because we discovered how tasty it is!

Now, Kerr’s has natural health products including Cold & Sore Throat Lollypop Lozenges and Cold & Cough Lollypop Lozenges, perfect for everyone in the family but especially great for kids who may be hesitant to try the same cough drops adults use, and as a mom I prefer a lollypop lozenge so I know when it’s finished.

The irony in this post is that, about 10 days after receiving our Kerr’s package in the mail, my oldest daughter caught a nasty chest cold! It was great to have Kerr’s Cold & Sore Throat and Cold & Cough Lollypops on hand – and – it was easy to pop an extra one into her lunch kit for a mid-day soothing lollypop since by noon her cough medicine would be starting to wear off. Naturally, my youngest daughter than caught the same cold a week later and she too enjoyed having the lollypops on hand.

P.S. They’re also allergy friendly, contain no artificial colours or flavours and are made in Canada!

You can shop for Kerr’s products right on their website, or you can find them near you! The orange Cough & Sore Throat lollypops are available nationally at Dollarama, and in Western Canada both can be found at London Drugs stores!
