Great Clips Start Here

No really, they do – here in Regina! I’m happy to share, if you haven’t already heard, that Great Clips – the world’s largest salon brand – is finally here located at Acre 21 in the Greens on Gardiner community.

Great Clips is a 100% franchised company with more than 4,200 salons across North America—each one offering a great haircut at a great location at a great price. What sets them apart is how easy they’ve made it for customers to make Great Clips their salon of choice with their Online Check-In service, and Clip Notes®, a technology that allows stylists to keep notes on a customer’s haircut and is accessible at any Great Clips salon.

You never have to make an appointment at Great Clips, which I love. Simply download the free Great Clips app, and a simple click will show you how long the estimated wait time is right now! Use the online check-in service to let them know you’re on your way (this puts you on the list at the salon, so that when you arrive you’ll be next or almost next on the list) or you can just pop on by and add your name to the wait-list as a walk-in without checking in online first.

We visited Great Clips this weekend – I just used the Great Clips app to see the estimated wait time and instead of checking in online, we just added our names to the list upon walking in. The large screen shows you exactly where you are in line and the atmosphere is very bright, welcoming and comfortable while you wait for your turn.

Our wait time ended up bring minimal (about 10 minutes) and my 11-year-old daughter sat down for a long overdue spring trim. She, like me, has thick hair and needed to lighten-up for spring and playing flag football so we asked the stylist to take off about 3 inches!

Right now, in celebration of Great Clip’s grand opening here in Regina, they’re offering $4.99 hair cuts! You know how much I love a deal, so not only did my oldest daughter get a great haircut, my youngest daughter (8) got a trim as well. And, my husband also got a cut (he shaves his head so that’s what he counts as a “cut”) and took advantage of the great price for a $5 beard trim as well.

The $4.99 hair cut special is for a limited time only, so you can always call the location at 306-789-0574 to hear if it’s still on (there was a recording sharing the deal when I called!) Of course, based on the prices I saw in the salon, it looks like Great Clips is a great option anytime and I’m happy to have this franchise in our city now! Local to Regina or not, you can always find Great Clips online on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. You can also search for Great Clips location near you using your postal code!

  • The prices are great The haircut looks awesome. I will have to check them out next time I am in Regina

  • Great clips is definitely affordable (especially with the $4.99 price). I’ve seen places near my home where I can pay upwards of $75 for a cut.

  • Those are very fair prices! We don’t plan to bring my daughter for her first haircut for another few years, but I hope she has a similar experience when we go!

  • Love this cut!
Had my hair done at Great Clips for many years their service, stylists, & prices are the best.

  • looks like a fabulous place!! i will let hubby know to check it out . ive been going to the same hair dressers for 15 years so i usually stick with her but hubby looks for new places to go and check out

  • The kids and I loved visiting Great Clips when we lived in Ontario. Great haircuts and a great price.

  • We have a Great Clips just a few minutes from my house, it’s super convenient! I didn’t know about the online check-in service, but I love the sound of that! Would make things a lot easier when going with my kids. My best hair dresser ever started her career at Great Clips, a long time ago before moving into a salon in Vancouver. I was so sad when she also eventually moved a few hours away after she started a family.
