Like Mom Does

Only when you have children of your own do you fully realize the love and sacrifice of your own mother. Whether it be, nursing you through a stomach flu, comforting you after an argument with your best friend, or waiting up until you creeped into the house slightly late after curfew, moms are there for their children in a very unique, ingrained way.

New moms discover this very early on when they realize how little sleep they can function on with a newborn, or how it doesn’t really matter that she hasn’t showered in three days because their new baby smells delicious and that’s all that matters. New moms discover what they’re made of in those first few days and weeks and then live every day after that for that baby. It doesn’t change when a second or third baby arrives either. Ask any mom to describe how her heart can split three ways and she will be at a loss to explain – it just does.

Having a child sick at home with a miserable cough and cold is tough on moms too. We’re the ones up at night bringing them medicine, and we’re the ones holding a sleeping toddler just a little bit upright all night – in a chair – to help them breathe better (I know I’m not the only mom who does that!)

Tylenol understands the love that only a mother can have is helping Canadians thank their moms for those long nights and comforting hugs. No one cares for us like mom does!  Check out this video;

As part of the #LikeMomDoes program, Canadians can share their own shout out to mom and share it with friends at www.likemomdoes.ca this holiday season. I love this idea, all too often we forget to thank mom for all the little things and a program like this gives her a virtual high-five just because, to let her know that yes, we remember those sleepless nights even though we were the cause of them!

Tylenol® For effective care of your cold, cough & flu symptoms, you want symptom relief you can trust so that you can make the most of the moments that matter, right now.
