Weetabix looks different than other breakfast cereals because, well, it is different!
Beauty really is on the inside. Have you seen Weetabix on the grocery store shelves? I’ve never tried it, truthfully the allure of whole grain cereals that looked like cereals appealed to me more. Weetabix looks like biscuits – and for a weary mom in the morning I didn’t want to over think my cereal! “Biscuits, what do I do with biscuits?!”
This. This is what you do! Weetabix makes it easy to make a yogurt and fruit parfait. I used two Weetabix biscuits (recommended serving size) with one as the base and one at the top, then layered with plain greek yogurt, blueberries and strawberries!
Made with just four simple, high-quality ingredients, Weetabix is non-GMO certified and contains the nutrients Canadians need to fuel their busy days. Each two-biscuit serving is packed with whole grains and is high in fibre, and contains only 2 grams of sugar and 130 calories.
Portioning is easy with biscuits, and Weetabix doesn’t have any trans-fats, artificial preservatives, added colours or flavours.
I loved weetabix as a child!! 🙂
Definitely a classic cereal I forgot about! I’ve seen a few posts on different blogs about Weetabix recently; it made me pick up a box and ive rediscovered an old classic 🙂
I’ve never tried Weetabix, but it looks delicious, so will pick some up next shopping trip – thx!
We had similar cereal when we were kids, we poured hot water on it to soften it up a bit, then poured milk over top.
I use to eat them as a kid and they are healthy for you and the truth I would love them in a parfait like your picture but I do not like them as a plain cereal
I’ve been eating them warm lately. I find I am getting myself to the basics.
I love Weetabix , i have been eating it for years i really enjoy it wit a little brown sugar and milk and so fresh fruit , really makes a great start to my day 🙂
I have never tried Weetabix before but the cups look yummy!
That looks really yummy! I usually eat my Weetabix in such a simple ways — I need to try changing it up!
I have never tried Weetabix either, not sure why? Thanks to your post I think I will give it a try, always looking for new healthy breakfast options!
