Oh my frugal readers, have I got some fabulous (ok let’s just throw in Feisty in there for good measure regardless if it applies!) news for you! Late last year, I shared news on what has become one of my favorite apps on iPhone. Flipp App helps shoppers be organized and save money – all before you set foot outside your door. And, like many apps, they’ve found ways to make it even better and now, I can’t wait to tell you about the latest updates to Flipp!
To get you up to date, if you haven’t tried the app yet, Flipp enables you to condense all your favorite store’s flyers all in one spot. You can browse flyers alphabetically or create a list of your favorite stores and look at those favorites only. Flyers are updated as they release, and as you browse you can then tap items to circle them for easy reference and price comparison.
Now, you can also create your own shopping lists. THIS IS AMAZING. Simply type in the item you need (shredded cheese, for example) and Flipp will not only add it to a list but also note where the item is on sale! Holy guacamole, people! It’s like having a virtual shopping assistant!
I was out this week shopping for items for our weekend houseguests. My recipe for turkey bacon quiche is perfect for brunch! I’d suggest making a double batch (my kids always seem to sneak them off the counter!) and of course ensure you have fruit and juice (and coffee!) on hand to complete your table setting. Really, that’s all it takes for a great brunch, without the heaviness of pancakes, etc. This is my ‘fancy’ brunch, you see. 😉 Now that Spring is finally here, I also picked up some adorable, bright, plates, napkins and cutlery to complete my table setting.
Of course, when at the check-out, ensure you have your Flipp App handy in case you need to show a competitor’s flyer to price-match, which Walmart is fabulous for doing. How awesome not to have to cram a flyer into my purse anymore, it’s all at my fingertips!

I love Flipp and the new shopping list! With a little one now I don’t find a lot of time for browsing flyers or clipping coupons. Flipp has made it easy for me to save time and money for my family! I can’t imagine my shopping trips without it!

one of the best parts for me is I can make my list and not have it still on the kitchen table while Im at the store. I used to always forget it at home.

I love flipp! It is so much more easier to have all my price matches ready to go in the clippings than to search through each and every flyer. Saves me so much time and now I dont have to wait for my flyers to come I check them on out on flipp.

One of my favorite apps – it is incredibly helpful in finding the best deals!
I downloaded the app and it is way better to apps that are similar. It is easy to navigate and lists some flyers I don’t receive at my house. I really like it, and when I typed in eggs(chocolate ones too), it brought up all the sales of eggs in the flyers that are on my app(local). I am really impressed.
Just introduced my sister to Flipp. She’s hooked lol
