New Shaw Go Kids Apps Now Available

Shaw Communications Inc. has announced the release of three additional Shaw Go kids apps exclusively available to Shaw Cable and Shaw Direct subscribers. Designed with kids in mind, these new apps provide kids and parents alike with access to popular children’s shows including, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Austin & Ally and Mighty Med. Shaw Go Family, Shaw Go Disney XD and Shaw Go Disney Junior are available for download now on iOS and Android devices!

With Easter break upon us here, I couldn’t wait to get these Apps downloaded onto our devices when I discovered them.  My two youngest love Disney Junior and as soon as they saw the Apps pop up on their iPad, they immediately searched for Sofia The First and snuggled together watching.

My almost-10-year-old prefers Disney XD which includes Phineas & Ferb and all my kids are slowly making the move over to Family programming as well. Remember when we were kids and all we had for ‘teen’ shows was Saved By The Bell?  Now, Family Channel opens up a world of programming with shows like Good Luck Charlie and Jessie which are favorites in our house.

Shaw Go Disney Junior utilizes a character-driven carousel and easy-to-navigate display perfect for children ages 2-7. For the teen and tween age categories, the Family and Disney XD apps feature intelligent streaming to provide the best video quality possible regardless of connection speed. All Shaw Go kids apps include video bookmarking capabilities to stop and play-back shows at anytime as well as parental controls that require PIN access.

Shaw Cable and Shaw Direct customers can download the apps by visiting shaw.ca/shawgo or shawdirect.ca/shawgo. Shaw Go Family, Shaw Go Disney XD and Shaw Go Disney Junior are available to all Shaw Cable subscribers.
