As if it’s not bad enough that our skin ages on ours when we glance away from the mirror, our hair ages too! At its loveliest in one’s 20’s, by the 30’s hair has experienced a decrease in sebum along with ongoing external damage, resulting in a loss of hair’s natural lustre. By the 40’s, hair becomes thinner and more fragile as the hair shaft shrinks and grey hair makes an appearance with melanin diminishing. In the 50’s, hair follicles shrink and hair becomes thinner still and increasingly fine. As well, melanin production has decreased significantly and by age 50 most women are 50% grey. In one’s 60’s hair often appears thin and lacklustre and nearly 40% of women will experience a degree of hair loss.
It makes sense, then, that we need to use different hair products as our hair ages. What worked for us in our 20’s won’t necessarily be best for us in our 30’s and so on, just like skin care. As for me, the scent was a real plus! I’m always looking for products that smell great and leave a scent behind in my hair (since, let’s face it, it’s surrounding me all day!) and this one definitely meets the mark. Okay, I’m 45 but my hair is acting like it’s on a 65 year old head. I have ALL the above mentioned “symptoms”. I would LOVE to try these products to see if they would work for me. I try shampoo after shampoo and conditioner after conditioner, oils etc etc. and I am happy at first but it doesn’t last. It’s a band-aid to a problem that needs major surgery.
Based on the reviews I would love to try it because I need something lightweight that keeps hair smooth and static free!

After reading Tara’s review Yes! I also have curly hair and any shampoo conditioner combo I have found will work for a while but leaves my hair limp with wavy hair instead of curls. It is like I have to trade off frizz free bouncy curls for moisture and shine.
