Yes, MAM!

I was recently given a handful on MAM products to try with my newborn son, John, and so far we are 2 for 2!

The first thing we tried with Johnny is the MAM Start pacifier. I (he) like it because it is so nice and small. Many other soothers just seem too big for a newborns tiny mouth. The end of this pacifier has a unique shape that just seems to ‘work’ for Johnny. The orthodontic nipple is BPA free. It’s made of ultra soft, silky silicone – yet has a unique anti-slip surface that keeps it from popping out! These soothers come in a pack of 2, and include a great little self sterilizing box. Follow the simple instructions and sterilize your MAM soothers in the convenience of your microwave!

The second MAM item we have tried with Johnny is truly a nursing mother’s best friend. Why? Because your baby will take it! The MAM Anti-Colic Bottle is designed for babies 0 months+. It has enabled me to go to my husband’s Christmas party, and head out for a recent afternoon of shopping. I kept calling home to ask “Did you try giving him the bottle yet?! Did he take the bottle?!” MAM is said to be “closest to MOM” – and they are right. I can pump a bottle and my son will accept it from dad (cue angels rejoicing). The design keeps baby from swallowing air while drinking and the nipple is, well, like mine! The flow is a nice pace, not too fast, not too slow. These bottles also have the great self-sterilizing function – great for parents who are using them on a regular basis.

Our success with these first 2 MAM products has me excited about the Learn To Drink Cup we will be stuffing in Johnny’s stocking for down the road (6 months+). This non-spill cup allows your child to train through a unique ‘soft spout’. This spout makes the transition from suckling to drinking far easier than with other sippy cups. The Learn To Drink Cup is a perfect size for this first step (6.5 oz).
