I am 33 years old and I still get acne. I know I am not alone in this! Since having my baby back in October, I have noticed my skin seems a little more prone to zits than it normally does. Probably because I am always so sweaty! But enough now about my post-partum woes… let’s get on with how to fix this problem!
VICHY NORMADERM Unclogging exfoliating gel has been added to my skincare routine. I have been using this gel a couple times a week. It acts as a gentle ‘peel’. What’s unique about this product is while it works to resurface my skin, it’s also super gentle. It exfoliates, but it also sooths my skin in the process. I massage it into my damp face, and let VICHY’S tiny ‘mico-beads’ do the dirty work. It unclogs my pores, and leaves my face feeling clean and refined. I like the fact it FIGHTS acne, not irritate it more! Considering the bottle is 125ml’s and I only use it twice a week, this is a product you don’t need to replace very often. If you search it online you will see this stuff has a cult following, and I know why!
I follow up my exfoliation with VICHY NORMADERM Hydrating acne care (50 ml). This is a ‘salicylic acid’ lotion. If you know anything about treating acne, you know this is necessary ingredient. While this lotion treats your zits, it also works for 24 hours to reduce shine and redness. I am big on texture when it comes to moisturizers, and this one is nice. It is oil free, contains no parabens, and absorbs quickly. It’s very light in texture, but still gives me enough moisture in our harsh winter climate. I must say VICHY has mastered the mix of moisture and acne care.
