Thanks to our friends at Telus, blogger Tara and I were invited to attend We Day Saskatchewan with our 9 year old sons earlier this month! It was really special being able to take in this inspirational event with Tara and our boys. We had met over 9 years ago in a “mommy group” at the local YMCA and have stayed close ever since, even though less than 2 years after meeting our family moved over four hours away.
Thanks to social media, long emails and scheduled visits when we can fit them in our busy lives, our families have remained close and for that, I am so-so thankful! It’s comforting to know that when I’m having “a moment” I can grab my phone and text Tara.

Sweet! I love Canadian companies, and BB is right up there! When I was 19 I worked at a Telus dealer, and was there when BB JUST started getting a colour screen. My gosh technology has come a long way!
