“Watch me do a bunny hop, mom,” was something that never came out of my son’s mouth until recently. A what a what? Now that he’s been “popping tricks” on his Razor Pro X Scooter, the terminology (and, “watch this!”) has been increasing weekly.
I can’t say that I mind. I had a scooter when I was about 10 or so myself, except that back in 1987 mine was so much less cool than this Razor scooter and the only trick I performed was managing not running into the bumpers of parked cars on my way to school.
Scooters have come a long way through the years and they’re definitely not just a children’s toy. While my son is surely an amateur with his abilities (don’t tell him I said that!) it’s fun to watch him master a new skill and the Razor Pro X definitely gives him years of time to do it because of it’s sturdy construction and adjustable handles to grow with him.
Unlike previous scooters that have seen some wear and tear, Razor scooters are seen as an investment like a bike because they will take your kids through several summers (and likely be passed down, his 5 year old sister has been trying her hand at this one already!)
