Abundance Naturally Giveaway

Abundance NaturallyLest I give my sister another near-heart-attack again, I am pre-empting reviews done by blog contributor Lisa with a quick intro like this.  Here, Lisa checks out Canadian based Abundance Naturally!  Read on…

As the mother of a rough and tumble 4 year old boy, there is nothing I find more satisfying than giving him a good ol’ fashion scrub down at the end of a long summer day. I have loved bath time since he was a day old and so has he.

I am hoping my new baby due this fall loves baths as much as my son…I know I will! I recently received a lovely gift basket of baby bath products from Abundance Naturally Baby.  Being the girly girl I am, the first thing I noticed was the adorable packaging. This set would be a hit at any baby shower. But after I got by the colourful cuteness of it all and started reading the labels…I quickly realized these products are far more than cute frou-frou packaging.

Abundance Naturally product reviewThe products are all made in Canada and 100% natural.  They smell pure and fresh, the way a baby should smell.  The main product is called “Bubble Wash” and it’s a shampoo and body wash all in one.  No fuss.  Save yourself a little tub time and use it to give your baby a relaxing massage after.  The Calming Baby Massage Oil ($11.99) is petroleum free and has a great texture which absorbs quickly.  It’s not greasy and full of parabens like many drugstore baby oils.  It’s totally petroleum free, something I always check for.

One of the products made me laugh when I saw the name: Bum Bum Spray ($11.99) is a simple diaper change cleansing mist. I know my son always had a talent for pooping immediately after his baths!  One of the key ingredients in this product is witch hazel.  I may or may not have tried Bum Bum Spray on my face… and liked it.

The set is rounded out by two separate balm’s…one for baby and one for mommy to be. I am happy to report that thanks to some help from Abundance Naturally Belly Butter ($11.99) – I am 8 months in and still no stretch marks! We all know there is no cure for stretch marks; it’s all about prevention.  The base ingredients of this balm are cocoa, shea and mango seed butters. It smells natural and pretty (I am very smell sensitive when pregnant).  I have been using it once a day at nighttime. While this product is very rich and velvety, it’s not heavy and sticky feeling.  I am able to massage it into my belly (hips and butt too) and then crawl into bed without greasing up my sheets.  It also gives instant relief to the itchiness of my rapidly stretching skin.

Check out these products for yourself at abundancenaturally.com – the best part is the price point will enable you to afford “abundance” for your new baby… and leave you feeling good about bath time and the products you are using.
