There are certain foods that are just so inherantly summer at their core, that eating them in January (while delicious) just doesn’t feel the same as enjoying them on your deck in July! Salsa, of course, is enjoyed year round at parties and movie nights at home here, but in the summer it’s one of my on-the-deck must haves!
While I love making my own homemade salsa, time doesn’t always allow that. It’s also not very helpful to have a salsa craving at 8pm and no ingredients in the fridge to make it.
I’ve been purchasing Sabra Pico de Gallo for awhile now when I don’t have time to make my own, and recently tried out some of their other products like Sabra Classic Salsa and amazingly good Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus! Both are perfect for eating with tortilla chips or crackers and the hummus in particular is a nice change from the usual dips.

Oh my gosh, I just tried the Sabra roasted garlic hummus last night… with these garlic and black bean tostitos.. it was AMAZING. Like a burst of garlic and happiness in my mouth. I will never buy another hummus again. And now I’m realizing that I’m out of my hummus and I must get more, so off to the store I go, as soon as the baby gets up. Seriously. Best. Hummus. Ever.
