Scotiabank has started a new program entitled Scotiabank Game Changers, tied in nicely to the CFL season!
Canadians are invited to nominate anyone they feel has given back to their community by supporting a charity, doing charity work, etc. I just heard about this program and when I investigated it further, I became a fan of Scotiabank Game Changers. Here’s why:
- There will be 72 regional Scotiabank Game Changers who will each receive $1,000 for a charity of their choice as well as a CFL prize pack.
- From those 72, eight finalists will be chosen to receive a 100th Grey Cup VIP trip to Toronto.
- 1 grand prize winner who will receive $100,000 for their charity!
The grand prize is amazing but I love that Scotiabank Game Changers recognizes and rewards 72 regional Game Changers in total – even $1000 to a charity can make a difference!
The program runs from June 21 to November 20, 2012, and you can access it on www.scotiabankgamchangers.com.

I would love to go to the game because I have only ever been to two and can’t afford to buy tickets. Besides that, apparently Canado Greg and Reed Timmer will be there and I am huge fans of them!! Rider games are so amazing to see in person. The electricity is contagious!
