Tagging Tips:
1.Start entering inventory & tagging now!! This will minimize the stress of leaving it to the last minute. (I’ve been doing a little bit every couple days or so.)

3.Do you have a lot items to enter? Do you want to save a whole bunch of time? Check out the Generic Tag Template tab on information on how to create generic tags at the price point that you set.
How to price your items:
All prices must be in $1.00 increments, NO .99 cents.
Please note the $3.00 Rule: If your item can not bring $3.00 in on its own, please pair it with something (that matches!) that will bring it to $3.00. Example: Pair a T-shirt with pants or three T-shirts together, 4 small toys, etc.
Do not cross out a price if you change your mind. You must remake the entire tag. OutGrow OutPlay will NOT sell any item if the price has been crossed off and changed. This is for everyone’s protection.
When you are pricing your items, PRICE to $ELL! They suggest that you price your items at 1/3 of the original price. 1/2 the original price for new brand new items. Do not loose sales because you overprice. A good indicator of what someone may pay for your item is an amount you would pay.
Always ask yourself, would I buy it and what would I pay for it!
You have spent a lot of time preparing, entering and tagging your items. The goal is that you have no items left over after the sale to take home or to donate. YOU set the price of your merchandise. Keep in mind that shoppers are looking for good deals and fair prices! Base your price on the condition, quality, and brand name of your item.

Remember every time you refer a NEW consignor, who registers and consigns at one of our sale events, YOU EARN $5.00. When you tell someone about our sale… ask them to list your name (we already have your phone number) on the referred by “A Friend” line when they sign-up and register online. Consignors will have $5.00 added to their cheque for each new consignor they refer.
