I don’t know if anyone else is feeling as frantic lately as I have. I know it has a lot to do with the amount of traveling I’ve been doing lately but I really can’t wait for life to just slow down and allow me some time to think, never mind actually get things done! As much as I love the summer, I do love the fall as well. The colors are magnificent, the scents even more so. It’s usually in the fall that I start to plan my holiday gift giving and for whatever reason I tend to get in a crafty mood then. It would help if I was actually a crafty person though.
When I get a brilliant idea, the problem is then finding everything I need to make my magnificent craft that may or may not end up in the back of a closet somewhere when I give it to the lucky recipient. The closest craft store is over an hour away. Shopping online has been my preference for most anything lately, so why not craft supplies too? Once you start looking, like anything else, the possibilities are endless.

I hope to have more time this fall to look at making some items for the holidays rather than buying carbon copy decorations at the store – if I give you a craft as a gift, I may or may not say that my child made it when it was actually me. Just smile politely and tuck it into the back of your closet. I’ll never know.
