39w 2d ~ Still Here!

I thought I should post a pregnancy update!  Aside from my whining and hypothesizing on Twitter these past few weeks I haven’t updated here on how things are going.  Here I am – still preggers and waiting (not so) patiently.

Both my previous babies arrived in the 39th week so to say I’m ready now is an understatement!  Elijah arrived at 39w 1d and Nevaeh arrived at 39w 3d.  So…where is baby?

I’ve fooled around with a few natural induction old wives tales techniques and so far have not had any results, so today I’m just chilling out and relaxing.  Hubby is starting 4 days off which is super if I go into labor and tonight we’re going out for dinner thanks to generous friends who offered to babysit (perhaps I’ll order something spicy?)

Tomorrow we may try a membrane sweep/stripping at the doctor’s office, which I’ve heard mixed results about.  Apparently if your body is ready/favorable this will help get things going and you could go into labor within 48 hours.  If your body ain’t ready, ain’t nothing going to help…sigh.  I hope that’s not the case.  I sure think I’m ready!

Anyway, in the meantime I’ve got a lot of great features still waiting to go up this week, then I’ll be taking a week off at the beginning of April before bringing readers some super baby-related products for the rest of April.  No worries though, I’m not working too hard – I have a lot of post started with logos/images and just need to add some personal thoughts and of course photos of us trying the products with baby!
