Up until recently, I didn’t even realize The Discovery Store existed. Full of products featuring and based on some of your favorite Discovery Channel tv shows, the store also features a great assortment of toys and gifts, all with a discovery-theme.
The Discovery Channel is a big hit in our household – my husband and son are fans of shows like Myth Busters, Deadliest Catch, and Dirty Jobs. They also watch other documentaries and programming on The Discovery Channel, and are always discussing what they’ve watched.
The Discovery Store sent us the Zipfy Mini Luge to check out this holiday season. Fortunately (unfortunately, according to me because I hate snow), we got a ton of snow these past few weeks so my husband and kids have been out a few times on a local snow hill checking out the Zipfy. Their review? They loved it! My husband says it’s easy to steer and just now while writing this review I found out that my 3 year old rode on it all by herself (gulp!!) Hubby said she had a blast on it though, until she ran into another kid and knocked them over like a bowling pin! A note, that the Zipfy is suggested for kids ages 6+ (ahem, hubby, are you reading this?!)
