Giveaways and Reviews

Greenforlife.ca Inc (closed)

Green For Life is a Canadian company founded in 2005. The company wanted to create a distribution channel for top quality and eco safe products for use in the home, school, and workplace.

The site is full of information about why choosing Green products is the better option for the home, school, and workplace and they have a huge selection of products to choose from. Basically anything that you would normally use for household cleaning can be found on this site, except these products are safe for both you and the environment. Customers who are already familiar with Green cleaning products may find some of their favorite brands here.

Green For Life sent me two of their most popular productss to review, and knowing me as you do by now, I was a happy mama getting cleaning supplies in the mail!

PureGreen24 Disinfectant & Deodorizer is my new favorite diaper bag secret weapon. The cool thing about this product is that it works of course instantly when you spray it, but it also has a 24 hour residual effectiveness! Take that germs!! I can see why this product would be very useful to schools and businesses where cleaning may not take place more than once per day on surfaces like toilets, door handles, etc. Let’s be honest here, this is also a great idea for households too because I know I don’t have the time or ability to spray down the bathroom door handle all day long.

I’ve been using this in place of my regular chemical-filled disinfectant for the past week. It’s hard to get used to a scent-free cleaner. I like scents and I guess I have become accustomed to scent = clean which really isn’t true. I feel better though, knowing I am using a chemical free product around my kids little noses.

The other product we’ve been using is pretty versatile so I haven’t really used it to it;s fullest potential just yet. It’s called Oxy-Boost and can be used for everything from laundry to the garbage pail. I like cleaners like this that have multiple uses; it saves me some space in my cleaning cupboard!

Fortunately I haven’t had any upholstery or carpet stains this past week to deal with so I have used Oxy-Boost in my laundry instead (because we will always, no matter what, always have clothing to wash…sigh). I’ve just been using this on everyday laundry, but it’s good for cloth diapers and particularly great for households with children (children = stains).
