When we were getting ready to move out of our old house, I looked up at the beautiful wall art we had for the kids from Expressive Walls and knew that I would miss it terribly. While the selection on Expressive Walls is huge, it can also be intimidating. I suggest taking your time and focusing in on the topic of your quote while searching rather than the room it will go in (often times I will find a quote suitable for one room but with an entirely different place in mind of where it will go). Browing through the wall lettering on Expressive Walls, I found the perfect quote for our family room. I was able to choose the font, letter size, and color. Clicking on the photo above will enlarge it. It says “Having somewhere to love is family, having somewhere to go is home, having both is a blessing.” I thought it was very appropriate for a family like ours that moves every 3-5 years for my husband’s job.
The above quote struck me the first time I saw it, and I knew I had to have it for our bedroom. “From this day forward, you shall not walk alone. My heart will be your shelter and my arms will be your home.” It says so much and I love reading it every day. The font, if you’re curious, is Chocolate Box.
Application is easy, just choose your spot, measure carefully and apply. For long quotes like the two above, it helps to have a second person holding the other side (or simply use painter’s tape to hold up the other end on the wall).
