This fall marks our 10 year wedding anniversary and my mind is racing with ideas on how to celebrate it! My husband and I, being fairly practical, don’t really buy each other anniversary gifts anymore (we’re far too busy buying home improvement items and things for the kids it seems) but a bouquet of flowers is enough to keep me feeling loved. Still, while browsing the georgous jewelry at Since1910.com, I can’t help but yearn for a pretty little something this fall.
Since1910.com features engagement rings, wedding rings, and other jewelry like eternity rings and earrings. I am lusting after the Since1910.com Tacori engagment rings shown above – I wonder if they could pass as a 10 year anniversary ring?
What about vow renewals? Tacky or romantic? I can’t decide. I think it’s something I would like to do with the kids there to witness, to show them the strength of their parents marriage and how much we love each other and our family unit. The more I think about it the more I think this is something I want to plan…your thoughts?
renew your vows….or get a motel room for a weekend better YET a Bed and Breakfast
It’s our 10 year anniversary this summer, and the plan is to take the kids on a family holiday to Cuba. (Maybe not the most romantic way to celebrate 10 years of marriage, but it’s what we want to do!) We have taken a few tropical holidays without the kids, and this year we’d really like to take them with us. Not sure if it’s actually going to happen or not, but that’s what the plan is for now.
As for vow renewal, my vote goes with “tacky”. My husband thinks it would be nice, but I told him that the whole point of saying your vows is that you are making a life-long commitment, so what’s the point of saying them again? I said them once, I meant them, and they are still good 10 years later. I renew my driver’s license, not my wedding vows! lol
We are celebrating 10 years this year too. We are still trying to decide what to do…
Congratulations on making it to 10 years! It is worth celebrating!!!
For our 10th (last summer) we husband bought me a ring, and I bought him a beer fridge for his man cave 🙂 But, he loved it! So that’s okay. We also went to Vegas together for a few days. My parent’s came to stay with the kids while we got a break. That was a lot of fun.
It’s our 10 year this fall too (Oct. 6th) and we’re seriously contemplating vow renewals -something very low key and intimate with close friends and family.
Check out Kirk Kara onlline!! The diamond sapphire rings are just to die for!! But i warn they are probably as pricey as Tacori
