To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Winnie The Pooh: Seasons of Giving, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment presents a special edition available on DVD, September 29, 2009. The story follows Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Rabbit as they embark on a mission to find winter – a favorite season they seem to have missed. Along the way, they begin another search to find the perfect ingredients for a Thanksgiving feast, which leads next to Christmas! The story brings about all the things families love about the fall and winter season with the help of our favorite friends from The Hundred Acre Woods.
Bonuses with this DVD include two new-to-DVD episodes, “The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Magic Earmuffs” and “The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Wishing Bear” as well as five cute (festive!) songs and a collectible Christmas stocking. Other fun features on the DVD include “Decorate Your Own Christmas Tree” and “Coloring Fun With Piglet” that you can access from the Main Menu.
I know we may not be ready to think about winter just yet, but Thanksgiving and all the family gatherings that are coming up are definitely something that brings about happy thoughts. In Canada, Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, October 12th. So, it really is time to start thinking about the Season of Giving.
In that spirit of giving, 1 reader is going to win Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving 10th Anniversary Edition on DVD. To enter, leave me a comment sharing what your Thanksgiving plans are this year.
