My Stuff Designs is the creation of work-from-home mom of 2 Julie. Instead of using labels for her children’s items, she decided that buttons (Belly Buttons) and zipper-pulls (xyz IDs) would be a more fun and frugal idea (the items can be removed and used on other items year after year). The buttons and zipper-pulls are highly customizable. Customers can pick from the Current Design Choices on My Stuff Designs, or they can submit their own designs – children’s artwork, favorites, etc.
A unique idea from Custom Design Choices – for those who do not want their children’s names on every item, what about the child’s picture instead? That way school teachers can easily identify a child’s item without their name being publicized for everyone to see. Love that idea!
We were sent 2 zipper-pulls (xyz IDs) from My Stuff Designs. My daughter received a very classic looking one from the Quilted Dollies Line (reminds me of Holly Hobbie which I loved as a child) and my son was sent a Robot design, which was perfect for his robot patten hoodie we recently purchased from TCP. The zipper-pull is perfect for this jacket – even though we already have a label on the tag, I noted that one of his friends in Kindergarten has the exact same hoodie, so this zipper-pull will make it much easier for my son to identify his hoodie before having to look for the label to find his name. The size of the zipper-pull makes it much easier for him to zip up his hoodie too, since there’s more there for little hands to hold onto.
