The Cream Perfume Company brings you French perfumes in a more pure form that results in more scent, and less (literal) garbage. Did you know that the terms used to describe your perfume actually mean something -I never really knew what Eau De Parfum meant in comparison to Eau De Toilette. Do you? Reading here, you will learn that Parfum has a fragrance oil concentration of 15-20% so for the most scent-sational impact this is what you want to be wearing.
Many companies use alcohol along with the fragrance oil to help diffuse the fragrance. It works in theory, the fragrance notes disappear quicker with it too. The Cream Perfume Com
pany uses sweet almond oil and beeswax mixed with the fragrance oil so that when the product goes on your skin, it also hydrates it while holding the scent longer.
Because there’s no alcohol in the product, there’s no need for the typical glass containers that regular perfumes come in. Now, cream-like perfumes are packaged in cute little wooden containers. The perfume itself actually looks like a little lip gloss in your purse (when is the last time you hauled your big breakable bottle of perfume in your purse or diaper bag?)
Right now there are 10 different scents to choose from – I was able to sample 4 of them: Mango poudre, Melon d’eau, Mimosa bouquet, and Ylang Ylang d’amore. Of the 4, my favorite was the Mango poudre, mainly because I don’t know when I’ve ever smelled a more delicious mango scent in perfume form before. It’s great being able to keep this in my purse because, being a busy mama, I often forget to spritz on my perfume at home, so this is a great way to apply perfume on the go. I can see pre-teens and teens really liking this idea as well (and parents too, since there’s no gross alcohol smell to the perfumes).
