Fall is the perfect time to make a delicious apple crisp since juicy apples are in abundance. I think anytime of the year works for making this super-easy apple crisp recipe, courtesy of contributor Tara Richter.
Easy Apple Crisp

Ingredients
Base
- 10 cups apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp sugar
Crust
- 1½ cups quick oats
- 1½ cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350.
- Place apples in a 9x13 baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together the sugar, flour and cinnamon together then pour on top of the apples.
- Next, combine the crust ingredients (oats, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking power and melted butter) then pour on top of the apple base.
- Bake for 45 minutes.

I am pretty sure I can substitute the flour and oats for gluten free flour and oats to make your EZPZ Apple Crisp, a favourite of mine when I was a child 🙂
So this looks easy enough for me to do, I’m not much of a baker but this seems doable!
