we have done the last minute getaway ourselves we have just gone done to Niagara Falls it’s not that far for us it has a lot of attractions not so much the casinos but a lot of things for the kids to do

Love all your March Break tips, I would love to go dog sledding, I heard it’s pretty hard to do. It’s always great to have travel insurance you never know if your going to need it, but should never leave home without it!!

Or if you can’t get away how about trying something that the kids would think was fun, like building a snow fort (should be lots of snow still around by then!) and then colouring it with coloured water in a spray bottle! Mine like that!

These are good ideas. My kids are really little and I just realized that they’ve never been bowling. So maybe for Spring Break.
I agree with Travel Insurance! It always when you think you don’t need it that is is So handy to have. Even for traveling between provinces. Consider taking out a 1 year policy then you don’t have to worry about it.
Would love to try out dog sledding, just the joy of being pulled on a sled by a team of dogs and beautiful ones at that, would be so totally awesome!!!

Oh a last minute surprise family getaway would be the coolest! My daughter would be beyond excited as we hardly travel anywhere and spring break is usually pretty tame around here. We do a lot of swimming & sledding, but a trip would be the best.

I would love to see the Rockies and the winter driving conditions wouldn’t bother us much. We get tons of snow here and the roads aren’t the best so we are sort of used to that. Maybe someday will get out west hopefully.
Hopefully it will be warmer in Ontario by Spring Break or there will be a lot of indoor activities!

You can really score some great deals on last minute trips if you’re flexible. One year we were able to head to hawaii for spring break cheap, but we had only 2 days to get ready to leave….stressful at first, but worth it at the end.
