I don’t have a VISA debit, I prefer using my VISA credit card. It sounds interesting though, I will have to look into it.

I got a new debit card this year and it was a Visa Debit. I’m a little leary about using it on-line as it links to my bank account. I worry about someone gaining access to my bank account and draining my funds!

Yep, CIBC debit is a visa debit. I’ve had it for a year or two now.
I don’t have a VISA debit but I do have a VISA credit card. I think the VISA debit is pretty cool. Essentially letting you use your cash you have in the guise of a credit card. Safer for people who need to watch their spending!

I have a credit card that I only use for online shopping, and I always watch the purchases on it to make sure they are all legit. I am pretty comfortable shopping online with that credit card, but I think the Visa Debit card is a great idea for those who don’t feel as comfortable. I actually know a few people who don’t shop online right now due to concerns – I am definitely going to tell them about this card so that they can get the awesome deals that can be found online!

I haven’t used it. I like the idea of Visa Debit. I don’t like to use credit cards and it seems like most places won’t accept Paypal or Interact online, so I can’t use funds out of my bank account. If only my bank (Tangerine) offered it 🙁

I love Visa Debit, and yes I do have one. I’ve never had a security issue arise while shopping online. My only complaint is that I wish you could use a Visa Debit absolutely everywhere you can use a credit card- ie, parking machines and hotels.

As an TD Bank customer not long ago they sent the visa debit card in the mail and I have not used it yet for online purchases but I don’t think I would worth to much about the security part,I like the fact I can use it as both debit and credit card as well makes things so much easier

Just this week she wanted to buy something on amazon.ca because that is the only place that sells it and she called me and asked if I could do it for it. I told her I don’t have an account so it’s just as easy for her to set one up as me!
