I know parents reading this can relate. You reach in to the bath tub clean the kid’s toys (a collection that seems to grow every few weeks before your eyes) and discover to your horror that there is mold, gunk and who knows what in the crevices of the toy. You quickly scoop up the toy and throw it away, half embarrassed and half horrified that it was in the bath with the kids.
My kids are always trying to bring toys into the bath that have no business being there so we’ve tried to instill a bath-toys-only rule for the tub. Toys that were actually made for the bath and hopefully won’t harbor any alien life forms. I of course still have to be diligent about cleaning them but toys that are designed for the tub are the way to go. We learned the hard (horrifying) way.
When given the opportunity to review new Mega Bloks First Builders Build ‘n Splash last month, I was in! It gave me a great chance to ditch all the current bath toys and start fresh with this one.
