More and more, I’m moving towards more natural products for myself and the kids. On Rebecca’s Soap Deli’s home page on Esty, the way her ingredients are listed sound more like a delicious recipe than soap! That tells me that my skin is being nourished, fed, like it should be rather than being coated in chemicals like store-bought soaps.
With ingredients like shea butter, rice bran, coconut and olive oils, these soaps are not only good for your skin, but good for the soul as well. Nothing beats having a warm shower and lathering up with a new fabulous scent of soap. That is my problem when shopping at department stores for soap! They all smell like…well, soap. Where’s my raspberry, vanilla, and citrus? At stores like Soap Deli!
Rebecca’s Etsy store currently has over 90 items, so there really is something for everyone. What I liked when looking at her soaps is that Rebecca lists which ones are best for dry skin or eczema, which ones are best for use on the face, etc.
Rebecca sent me the Falling For You soap to try. I didn’t love the scent personally but that is because I love anything fruity or vanilla scented. Falling For You is one of Soap Deli’s most popular scents and if you recognize the name of it, there’s a reason why! Many of the soaps rival scents found in other (more expensive!) stores.
The soap itself lathered nicely and is my new shaving-soap. I don’t use a shaving foam (that was gone the day my son sprayed it all over the tub) and I hate using regular soap to shave my legs because they’re always left feeling dry and itchy. This soap is perfect for shaving because of the shea and cocoa butters!
The more I browse the Soap Deli site, the more I find that I would like to try. Frosted Donut anyone? What about Hot Apple Pie?!!
With soap prices starting at $3.50 (sale!), I don’t doubt that you would be tempted to try these out!
