I first discovered OPI about 10 years ago when I worked in an esthetics’s salon as a receptionist (great perks!) Until that point, I was using whatever pretty (cheap) nail polish I found at the drug store. I didn’t see a correlation between cheap nail polish and the fact that I had to redo my nails often because they always chipped and peeled. My esthetician at work let me try OPI nail polish and that was the beginning of my OPI love.
Over the years I can’t say I have always used OPI, but if I am looking for a color for an important event, or going away on vacay (ur…back in the day when I actually went away on vacay) I’d choose OPI because it’s long lasting and vibrant.

I received the new OPI Summer Flutter lacquers to try and picked Catch Me In Your Net to try first, since it reminded me a little bit of Avatar with the sparkle-teal hue. If you have an aversion to feet, I do apologize (ahem…my sister) but I happen to think they look really cute especially with the white flower stickers I added. I thought having teal-colored toenails would make me feel a little smurfy, but the color is really eye-catching and a nice change.
