  • ghostbusters did scare me as a kid but I loved the stay puff marshmallow man stuffie when I was little.

  • We took our daughter to the movie theatre in the 1980s to see the first two Ghostbusters movies, we laughed our way through & loved both of them.

  • The song and the giant marshmallow guy are the most memorable things to me. When my oldest kid was little, he used to love singing the song. Makes me think of him now. My little one now is a fan.

  • We watched this with my little guy this year and he was so into it he asked Google if there was a video game version. Of course. Well turns out there is and now I’ve had to watch walk throughs of how great it is.

  • I took my eldest daughter and 2 of her friends. 7-8 yrs old. I had to cover their eyes for the library scene. That one got me too. Still the best version that all others are compared to. But at that time not exactly a kids movie, then again I knew a grandma who watched the Chucky series with 6 year old LOL so there’s that.

  • i loved ghostbusters! lots of action and the actors made it a fun movie, sometimes scary, but a lot of humor in it too! can’t wait for the new one coming out!

  • it’s been so long ago that I really don’t recall even if I saw it when it first came out or not. we definitely would have rented it when vcr’s came out and I think we just got a whole lot of laughs out of it!

  • I love that so much of my childhood is coming back right now! I saw Ghostbusters with my next door neighbours as a kid – 3 boys – and it was all they wanted to play after. We used to run around the neighbourhood playing various made-up Ghostbusters games – such fun memories of childhood. I think we watched the movie for the middle brother’s 8th birthday – June 1984.

  • I have a memory of hearing the ghost busters song on the radio out at the camp fire at our cottage as a kid.

  • one fond memory of ghost busters i have is when my family and i did a just dance video games and we would do the ghost busters theme song non stop. the kids loved it.

  • I did not see the original in theatre but I rented it at least monthly once it was released to VHS!

  • A few years ago when my hubby and I were on a small trip to Vancouver we saw the remake with the girls for the ghostbusters movie. I absolutely loved it!
