Create Something Beautiful

This summer, I moved my entire office and crafting station, two separate areas in the house, into one room. It just made sense to have one space to call my own, with three kids continually taking over all the spaces in the house. I love my space, and wanted to fill it with some beautiful prints. I looked for posters online and briefly in-store (not a lot in-store as it turns out) and found Posterstore.ca and that’s where my search ended! I created this photo wall with everything sourced at Posterstore.ca.

Gorgeous right? This is my new workstation for my side-biz/hobby at Feisty Things, making shirts and other fun things. To the left, out of frame, is my workstation with my brand new pretty iMac in seafoam green, with a whiteboard trimmed in the exact same color. Yes, my cricut matches as well. So – when looking for framed posters I definitely wanted seafoam green to be a major color in them, but couldn’t stay away from the gorgeous vintage posters on the site – they all pulled me in!

They have a large poster selection of different themes & categories for all tastes and release a new poster collection every Tuesday so there’s always something new waiting.

That’s where I found the Marilyn Monroe poster, but in my case I opted for a larger version and black frame. That’s a cool thing about Posterstore.ca – you can create your own look based on other’s submitted photos, but with a twist. My vintage look includes Marilyn Monroe, Kurt Cobain, and a quote from Johnny Cash.

I was also able to search by color to find prints in my favorite color, seafoam green, to match my existing decor and also bring out the storytelling of the other posters on my wall. Finding a favorite poster, like the cactus one above, and then seeing how it was incorporated into wall art by others, made my own decision making process easier. Of note as well, all posters are printed on sustainably produced, high-quality paper.

Shipping took no time at all. The posters and frames are shipped separately and you need to add the poster to the frame upon receipt. Once that’s done, the next step is determining the layout which we found worked best by laying out the framed posters on the floor in front of the wall and determining what fit best where. My final result isn’t as gorgeous as all the images shared on the website and on the Posterstore.ca instagram page, but it’s a real mom’s real space and I’m proud of that.

Posterstore.ca has given me two opportunities to share the love with my readers. First, all readers can use code feisty45 to save 45% on all posters (except Selection Posters and frames, not combinable with other offers). AND, they also have a giveaway to share!

One lucky reader is going to win a $100 Gift Code to shop at Posterstore.ca! Grab all posters, a mixture of posters and frames, whatever works for you and your space!
