Becoming a big sister or brother is a huge change for any child. In the blink of an eye, they suddenly have to share EVERYTHING. Elizabeth is already such a fantastic sister to Henry, but she definitely struggles with having to share my time and attention with him! Because of this, independent play has become a very important part of our lives. Toys that spark Elizabeth’s imagination and keep her busy while I nurse Henry get the stamp of approval from this busy mom of 2. The latest toy to get the coveted stamp is the Little Tikes Princess Cozy Coupe!
Thanks to all of the interactive bits and pieces on the Little Tikes Princess Cozy Coupe, Elizabeth never seems to tire of playing with it! She can open the door, turn the steering wheel, honk the horn, turn the ignition, open the gas cap… basically everything that she sees her Dad and I doing when we go for a drive in the family car! I absolutely love seeing how much she uses her imagination when playing with this little car. She brings her dolls for rides, makes “vroom vroom!” sounds, and waves to the other drivers on the imaginary road.
Like all Little Tikes toys, the Cozy Coupe is fantastic quality. There is a significant amount of assembly required (it took my husband just over an hour), but once completely put together it’s very sturdy! Thanks to it’s durable tires and front wheels that spin a full 360 degrees, the Little Tikes Princess Cozy Coupe moves around like a dream on any terrain. Elizabeth is easily able to push herself around on our lawn, the sidewalk, and our gravel driveway! When we go for a walk as a family and she asks to take her car, we simply put the removable floor board in to keep her little feet safely tucked inside the car and use the handle on the roof to push her around. Now that the snow has started to fly, we will be bringing the car inside our home. It is easy to maneuver even in a tight space, and I know she will make great use of it all winter long!
Adding another member to our family has certainly shaken things up for Elizabeth, but thanks to fun and interactive toys that keep her hands and mind busy, she is adjusting well! I know that in no time she’ll be taking Henry for rides in her Little Tikes Princess Cozy Coupe!

Oh my gosh, this is so cute.
I’ve always loved this type of toy for kids, they certainly love ‘driving’ and acting like mummy and daddy. Their imaginations run wild. These are sturdily built and will last through a few kids at the very least.
That is probably the cutest kid car I’ve never seen.
