My {Under $100} Sears Head-To-Toe Outfit Find!

Every Spring, like a robin building a nest, I’m busy building my Spring wardrobe. This year, it’s almost being built from scratch due to a 28 pound weight loss from this point last year (!!!) which presents some challenges to the bank account. So, I’ve been working to find pieces that mix and match well, so I can stretch my shopping budget that much further. After seeing style expert Liv Judd Soye’s Spring picks from Sears, I visited my local Sears Canada store in Regina with a plan.

I wanted to find a head-to-toe outfit, exclusively wearing the new line of private label products now branded under the name Sears Canada, and all for $100 max! This isn’t possible at many other stores in the mall, and to be honest I wondered if it was possible at Sears (knowing that shoes themselves can sometimes push you over that mark quite easily!) I also, of course, wanted the outfit to be trendy and something I’d actually wear – because, sure, you can find an outfit under $100 but would you wear it? The answer, it turns out is, oh so much yes!

Sears Canada Spring 2017

While browsing all the fashion finds at Sears, I was surprised by how many now have the Sears Canada logo, highlighting the new branding from the company which seems to come hand-in-hand with low prices (you’ve got my devotion there, Sears!) I soon discovered that it would be crazy-easy to put together an outfit for $100.

Sears Canada Spring 2017

My mint green t-shirt, with crochet detail on the flutter sleeve is perfect for pairing with dress pants, but can also be worn with capris, shorts or distressed jeans. Dress it up or down, and toss in the wash for an easy go-to outfit every week. The price? $19.97!

The pants, black pull-on capris with a slim fit (and how!) through the hip and thigh, complete with a contouring waistband. The $19.97 price point again surprised me but that’s not even the best part! They’re machine washable too!

floral pointy toe shoesMy shoes – oh how I love love love my new Sears Canada shoes! These Angie Pointy Toe Dress Pumps come in a variety of colors (but why would you choose anything but floral?), fit like a dream (no toe pinching) and are priced at just $29.97. And, like the top, these shoes can be worn with dress pants, capris or denim.

All three Sears Canada brand pieces came in at a total of just $69.91. That means that, had I not promised myself that I wouldn’t get yet another bag, I could have accessorized too and still came in at under $100!

If you haven’t been to Sears lately, now is the time! Visit your local store or shop online at Sears.ca.
