Give Cold And Flu Season A Fight

It’s definitely cold and flu season (pretty much as soon as the kids are back in school I declare it as such, but fine the experts say it’s now during the middle of winter.) We have been pretty good so far, but I know better. I got a chuckle out of this tweet the other day and retweeted it, in solidarity.

So, we’re doing as much as we can to ensure we all stay healthy this winter. We got our flu shots, we take our vitamins, and we (hope we) dutifully wash our hands often. I’m always open to extra defense tactics, so was happy to include a new product from Arbonne in our kitchen-cabinet artillery.

  • Well the colds, and varied types of them, have hit our house hard and mutated into several different kinds this year. It seems no one is immune to them this year.We also are battling the 24 hr flu too right now. So we do try to keep up with vitamins, lots of fluids and the hardest part, Sleep! I have used Arbonne’s Antioxident and Immune booster packs and they are great! Would love some more for the family!

  • I’ve been overal healthy. My daughter (5) had strep throat and hopefully that’s all!

  • We are being very diligent about handwashing this winter. Everyone had a bad cold at Christmas and we don’t want a repeat!

  • this year was tough, i was sick, hubby got sick with man flu, then he left for camp, i was on the mend, then my son decided to share with me.

  • I had something horrible at the beginning of Jan but have been good since then. The kids have actually been pretty good this year too!

  • We’ve all got hit pretty hard this winter , I work in residential care and it’s been outbreak after outbreak

  • I can’t avoid the cold! I am currently trying to get rid of a three month long cough! I have been sick from work a few days as it just hits you and you are so tired! I have been able to avoid the flu (Thankfully)

  • Not too bad, especially compared to those around us. We’re all battling little coughs right now though.

  • Already a couple of colds so far this season in my house! And it seems to be a much longer, lingering cold this year!

  • I have managed to stay healthy so far. However my husband has been sick twice since November.

  • Had a cold, boyfriend had the stomach bug going around his office. BUT I was able to avoid the stomach bug by quarantining him and wiping down every surface in our home with Clorox wipes!

  • My husband and I have had a great year so far and have avoided any colds or flu that so many around us have been dealing with.

  • So far I have been not to bad but hubby has been getting the odd cold here and there but then his immune system has been down as well!!

  • So far so good for me but my husband was sick New Year’s Day. It wasn’t a hangover either as he only ever has a glass of wine with dinner.w

  • This year has been absolutely horrible! I have two little ones that started school and since than it seems every week there is a new cold in our house. Ugh! I am so over it. Come on Summer

  • It’s going lousy this season. I had a horrible cold/flu? from beginning of November, and didn’t recover until after Christmas. Now I’m on my second cold, and it’s only February. Blechhhh.

  • My winter has gone much better so far than last year! I traded the flu with shoveling snow! LOL

  • So far so good for winter 2017 in terms of avoiding those colds and flu — nobody in family infected yet –fingers crossed stays that way!

  • We’ve been very lucky so far and no one in the house has gotten sick. I hope things stay that way because I would be more than happy to get through the winter without any colds or flus this year.

  • I would like to say it’s been good so far in 2017, but that would be a lie. We all had the flu 3 weeks ago!

  • I have had a couple cold bugs but luckily haven’t gotten the flu! Hopefully, i can avoid it this year.

  • I’m afraid winter 2017 has taken a toll on our family. My 7 year old grandson comes home from school with a cough, cold, or flu every few weeks and unfortunately it gets passed onto his parents and both sets of grandparents. It takes us older folks a lot longer to recover, I’ve been sick for almost 5 weeks now.

  • so far, so good! Now I hope I haven’t jinxed things by saying that. I find that as the kids get older and getting into the higher grades, we are experiencing fewer bouts of colds at our house

  • We had one cold/flu that took us to our knees. It was a bad one that we picked up from a sick child. The school said it went through there like crazy.I am so glad we got our shots in the fall because it was a baddy, but on the bright side it was the only one we got this winter.

  • Unfortunately my son his wife and 3 young girls got the flu. The oldest brought it home and everyone got it in succession. I nursed them all and I thought I had dodged a bullet but no sooner had I got through my door I got sick and it was awful 🙁 Down with the FLU

  • So Far this winter we have been doing ok, but its not over yet. My mother has had the flu but was only the 24 hour kind thank goodness

  • It hasn’t been going the greatest as of late for my kids. All 3 have had a bout with the cold in the past few weeks!
