A Place For Everything And…Everything In Its Place, Right?

The lazy hazy days of summer are gone, moms, and now it’s time to get down to business and start off the year right with an organizational plan for the household. I still love websites like FlyLady.net – it’s a great resource for all things organizational in the home but I have personally decided the site is for overachievers (and I…am not.) One of the beginner baby steps on the site is to shine your sink daily and I have failed miserably at that one!

Here are my basic tips for keeping an organized home. There’s no extravagant program to follow here (and if your sink has water spots all over it, celebrate how colorful it looks and continue on with your day!)

Prepare As Much As You Can The Night Before

– Sign forms (write cheques!!), read or re-read newsletters to make sure you’re not forgetting to bring 24 cupcakes on Monday, finish up book orders and put completed homework in the backpack before turning in for the night.

– Lay out clothes for the following morning, including socks. If your little fashionista wants to pick out her own clothes, the evening is a much better time to have clothing battle discussions. Obviously this only works up to a certain age, after that point may the force (and not MTV) be with you, moms.

– Prepare lunches the night before, if possible. If you’re like me and get icked out at refrigerated sandwiches, place all non-perishable items in the lunch kit the night before, cut up fruit/veggies and put them in storage containers, etc.

Getting Out the Door

The biggest stress in the morning is ensuring we actually get out the door on time, and the reason we don’t succeed is because someone is often looking for their backpack/hat/shoes/jacket/mittens or any number of things that suddenly have gone
missing in the past 12 hours.

We headed out to The Home Depot this summer in search of something to help, and I found two items that are definitely going to make my mornings easier!

6 Cube Storage Shelf from Home Depot

A basic Cube Shelf like this one (at The Home Depot Canada in store for $44.98) with the basket inserts ($7.77) is perfect for storing lunch kits, mittens, hats, notes and more near the door.

storage bench at home depot

Next, this bench is perfection! With even more space for shoes and backpacks, plus a place to sit instead of in-the- middle-of- the-floor- while-I- trip, this helps keep mom and kids happy (and safe!)

Heads up! Now through until October 31st, RBC Rewards credit card clients who shop at The Home Depot Canada will earn 2X RBC Rewards points on every $1 in purchases (whether in-store or online) when you use your RBC Rewards credit card to pay. This program is only available to shoppers in Alberta and Saskatchewan so it’s the perfect opportunity to get some organizational products for your household AND earn two times the RBC Rewards points (perhaps for a sunny destination vacay this winter?)

What about you? If you have an organizational tip to share, please do! In the meantime, I wish you calm mornings, expertly prepared lunches, and the satisfaction of getting out the door on time this back to school season.

If you’re an RBC client in Alberta or Saskatchewan, definitely take advantage of the 2x RBC Rewards Points offer before October 31st!

  • what AREN’T we doing is a better question?! We are starting first with our kitchen, we just painted and now we have to re-hang some cabinetry and add baseboards.
everything is everywhere and using up all my counter space for meal prep!

  • everything needs a place, in order to stay organized, I use baskets and containers and I know exactly where everything is at all times, unless of course someone moves it from that spot lol. thanks for the giveaway and chance to win

  • Front doors are usually steel. Ours is. I have a small magnetic white board (8 x10) on the inside of the door so we can write ourselves reminders the night before and check on our way out. I also use a magnetic pencil holder (like the ones you see for lockers) which holds the coloured dry erase markers and eraser. I also found magnets with just the names of the days of the week so we can add it to the board and this way we know which day each reminder/note was written for.

  • I have to reorganize some things like containers and my fridge drawer changes to a kid snack drawer.. Also bought a colored shelf to store papers for each day of the week.

  • Every room needs sprucing up but I have designated September for the bedroom. I’ve been looking at storage options on Home Depot onine, also a cute rocking chair.

  • I gathered up all the extra school items/supplies I had left over and lots of household goodies and held a garage sale last weekend.

  • I do not have kids in school anymore but I still like to get organized after being more laid back during the summer. I like to get our summer clothes out of the way and bring out the fall wardrobe. I also like to just do general organization throughout the house which falls by the wayside during the summer.

  • I have been going through cupboards and closets getting rid of stuff we don’t want or need any longer. We seem to gather so much through the year and now with the holidays creeping up, we will have more so its re-organize and get rid of things time in our house.

  • I am totally getting into organizing mode now that school is back in!! I still have one child at home, but I am still able to get so much more done with my extra free time – we had so much fun doing lots of activities this summer, the house was kind of neglected… I have started by cleaning out the kitchen cupboards and getting rid of food we won’t be eating – making space for all the snacks etc we need for school. I like to have organized cupboards where we can easily find stuff to pack lunch bags with, both in regards to both the food and the containers. I’ve also culled my kids’ clothing to make space for any new items we will need to replace the things that are outgrown. Next was our entry way – got rid of all the summer clutter and cleared up the space for the backpacks, school shoes, coats etc so that we can just pick up and go in the mornings. That’s where I’ve made progress so far, but I’m just getting started!

  • I’ve been going through clothes and toys. Stuff I want to donate and stuff I want to keep. The keep stuff have been put into totes. And I’ve been getting ready to take out the fall clothes and put away the summer. However summer seems to be sticking around for a while.

  • I am slowly starting to pack up some summer items in their storage containers to make room for school items and sports gear.

  • I’m organizing kiddo’s clothes by size so that I know which clothes fit him, and then i choose his outfit each night so am not taking time to do so in the busy mornings.

  • My daughter starts school Monday (JK) and I am very excited 🙂 That means mommy can get some things done around the house. First thing I would like to do is reorganized my bathroom cabinets and then paint my powder room

  • I have no one in school anymore, but when my girls were in school I would organize the livingroom and put everything back and clean the cupboards and do inventory on the contents, and give the bathroom a major cleaning!!

  • We’ve overhauled the kitchen cupboards and we have to get our entrance way more organized so everything has it’s own home.

  • Freezer stocked with easy to grab snacks for the kids! With crazy schedule, crock pot meals and pre made freezer meals makes life way less hectic! Also have hooks and baskets in the boot room

  • I would like to organize the front hall way. I want a place where the kids can place their shoes, backpacks and lunch bags together. They tend to just throw things by the door the minute they walk in.

  • We are trying to slowly but surely get our garage back to a really organized state as I admit…it is out of hand! :/

  • I need to organize the closets they are a mess! I am thinking a couple closet organizing systems might be a good plan & lots of containers. Now I just need to get the motivation to tackle it!

  • We are redoing our front and back entryways. We are painting and adding more hooks , cubbies and shelves in an attempt to tame the mess and stop losing things.

  • My children are grown so my organizing is to make things easier for the two of us. I have a bedroom that still has some of my grown kids belongings that they left when they moved out and got married. I have been boxing up these things for them to go through. Once that room is done I will have a nice craft room. I would like to put some kind of a shelving system in there to store craft supplies in.

  • went through closets and drawers and moved out the summer clothes/items and put in school clothes, made a spot/area for the backpack/umbrella/footwear near the door. The rest of the house will get reorganized in weeks to come..especially kitchen cupboard!

  • Going through the clothes and getting the fall and winter ones out, also getting our house ready for winter, by getting some firewood, ect…

  • Back to school doesn’t happen yet in our household but I will gladly accept other’s tips for the day that it does start 😉

  • For me it’s making sure I’ve got good, healthy food ready. In cooler months the fresh veggies and fruit aren’t hanging on the counter as much. So planning that in advance and staying organized so I don’t over buy is important. Also, dollar store baskets. I have them on top of every hallway closet. Makes it was easier to pull things down without everything falling on your head.

  • re-organizing their closets (donating clothes that are too small, etc) and emptying out the cupboards by the front door so we can put their shoes, boots and jackets there

  • I am very particular. With a busy lifestyle everything needs to be organized and in its own spot. I declutter all the time and sell or donate what we don’t use.

  • I’ve got a new storage unit in our living/dining area, and need to unpack some of the boxes from our storage locker.

  • I am organizing Sophie toys and donating some. I have also organized a list of snacks and lunches for each day the week.

  • I am purging and throwing away a lot of things that are no good and getting some things ready to bring to the goodwill!!

  • I get the closets organized by going through the summer stuff to see what won’t fit next year and look through the winter stuff too. Anything that doesn’t fit my boys anymore gets donate to a local shelter.

  • Front hall closet purge is in full effect. Amazing how much seemingly random stuff builds up in there over the course of a summer.

  • I am slowly filling my car trunk with items set for the donation box. I am concentrating more on finishing the basement which I thought would have been completed years ago.

  • Getting my home organized is a year-round, every day process for me! With school back in I need to start changing over my kids’ wardrobe from summer to fall, organizing the pantry, and doing a BIG clean for all the bathrooms and windows! It never ends- but this would surely help! Thank you for the chance!

  • Bookshelves and lots of them. We’re also trying to organize our kitchen a bit better so it’s easier to grab and go!

  • I pack lunch & lay out tomorrow’s clothes, etc. the night before so that we’re not rushing around in the morning.

  • I’m going through all my cupboards and getting them organized by donating what I don’t need and tidying up the rest.

  • I have a small whiteboard by the back door that we write things to do, to remember, and reminders to others. This works like a charm! Keeps everyone fairly organized.

  • I’ve always believed that getting your clothes out and making the lunches the night before helps keep you organized and saves a lot of time in the morning. I also think a calendar/schedule is another way to keep your life organized and never miss an appointment

  • My kids are only 3 and 4 months old, so no school for us this year. We stay organised for daycare by preparing all my daughter needs the night before. We empty the dirty clothes of the bag if necessary and put new ones in. We look at meteo to pick the clothes for tomorrow and sometimes I prepare what we will need for breakfast or matching accessories like a headband. I prepare all my clothes and the baby’s ones too.

  • Wow. Would love to win this. We need to do some renos in two of the bedroo ms and the bathroom. Thanks for this giveaway.

  • We started with a total home purge and took 8 garbage bags to donations and another who knows what straight to the garbage. A big calendar that the whole family can see is a must for organization in our house.

  • I bought some wicker bins to organize the front closet. They each get one for their shoes hats mitts and so on.I am also going through any clothes that are too summery for now and things that are too small are going to either get packed away for next summer or they are going to the local clothing bank as donations.

  • Need to rearrange the mud/laundry/furnace room and have a better storage system in there. It’s too crowded and come winter if I don’t figure something out it will be a disaster

  • We’ve done the ‘try on all your clothes and we’ll see what still fits’ organization, and we’re trying out a different system of keeping their backpacks at the front door on hooks instead of bringing them up to the bedroom. We’ll see how that goes!

  • I am trying to organize a better space for the kids to be able to do their homework. Provide a better lighting situation and have some thought into how the area should function. The space is horrible right now. Not to mention I was using it for scrapbooking whether leaves it kind of messy.

  • With shift work, my husband and I have to be increasingly organized during the school year. We need to get our fridge organized so our older two boys can make their own lunches.

  • we are cleaning out closets of clothes and shoes that do not fit anymore and taking them to our local thrift store

  • I’m in the midst of a purge. I’m getting rid of bric a brac, and assorted junk. I’m even steam cleaning blankets that have been in storage. I almost don’t know what’s come over me :0

  • Last weekend I decided to put in laminate floors…. and my home is in disarray! But the positive thing is that I’ve decided as I put it back together, I need to de-clutter and organise!!! I’m inspired:)

  • My first job is to get rid of summer clothing that won’t be used and trim away any fall clothing that isnt needed!

  • I set up a command station at our front entrance. Hooks for backpacks and bags, cubby for shoes, and jackets. A cork board for notes (take out newsletter, teacher notes, calendar, etc) and post. Somewhere to keep everything together.

  • I am generally always organized but since my daughter started school We have plenty of special places for her books and supplies!

  • my sister has her kids organized by each having their own drawer in the closet, and they each get one toque and one set of mittens. If you loose them, go find them. That has really helped. they used to have hats and shoes and mitten (one of about a million pairs it seemed) lying around. nOW it’s quite tidy(ish)

  • We are doing *SO* much organizing right now! Purging, getting new furniture, and trying to organize our home better. Would love to have some extra money to spend on new furniture and/or storage solutions. Thanks for the awesome giveaway! 🙂

  • I don’t have kids, but I have been in a purging mode cleaning out closets and sending stuff to goodwill. It always feels so good to clear it out.

  • Decluttering first, then using some baskets, bins & containers & having everything oranized according to each child & parent.

  • It would be fantastic to win a $250 Home Depot Gift Card.
In response to your question of How are you getting your home
organized now that school is back in?
I don’t have any children so kids returning to school doesn’t affect me but
because it’s going to be Fall soon i will get my house organized
by putting away the summer clothes, going through the closets
and giving away things i don’t need
and giving my windows a good cleaning.
Thank you for having this giveaway.

    • I am decluttering one room at a time and donating anything I do not need to a local charity. I also am getting rid of any paper daily as it enters the house, by filing, answering the mail or recycling

  • I designated an entire shelf to school books. Sadly that’s about all. I have to organize and sort their fall/summer clothes soon, but it’s still really hot here.

  • I keep a separate drawer (the one in my microwave cart) just for any & all school correspondence – that way I can easily find that school outing notice, the calendars or school photo order forms.

  • I have recently started re-vamping our home – donating old items and doing DIY projects to slowly get organized. I just started my post grad program and am looking forward to an organized house to offer relief during a hectic schedule.

  • Going threw every room and getting rid of things that are never used. Have a donate pile , resale pile and garbage pile.

  • I’ve been going through closets and getting rid of spring and summer clothes that no longer fit and trying to reorganize everything. I’m also trying to get my kitchen cupboards organized…that’s a nightmare.

  • Nothing has changed in the home – everything is organized like it was before in storage.
Had a rummage sale over the summer to get rid of some items not being used

  • We’ve already begun the organization process with buying containers for the fridge & cupboards so it’s easy for the kids to grab school snacks. Currently I’m working on the basement, putting everything into sections of Christmas / Camping stuff / Toys / etc. I am using a lot of totes but also need to buy shelving.

  • We have a big calendar on our fridge that has all our activities at a glance, we cleaned and cleared out for foyer for easy navigation, and we’ve bought a lot of baskets/bins to organize things like snacks (granola bars, etc), lunch boxes, gym clothes, and school supplies.

  • It’s not so much school as it is my mom moving into a nursing home, which should be very soon. Then I can start organizing all the stuff from my parents’ house and her apartment, as well as our own stuff, which I’ve had to let slide the last couple of years due to lack of time and extra energy. Things should be looking up by spring.

  • I need to start by organizing my kitchen cupboards, so that we can find what we’re looking for. After they’re sorted out, then I need to start on my closets.

  • I have been doing meal planning and sticking to it. I have also made a concerted effort to pack lunches the night before. Wish me luck!

  • Starting to pull out the winter bins , see what fits still , what we will need ,and make room for the summer stuff to be put away , thats a sad thought , lol

  • I’m in the process of setting up a home office to get organized! After that, I’m going to start working on the entry way. I’d like to add hooks and storage to help keep the clutter contained.

  • We have the same shelving unit from Home Depot – complete with labeled baskets for hats/scarves/mitts; sporting equipment; dog leashes; etc etc.

  • Baskets and Bins. Not only do they keep things together, they also keep them out of sight. Clothes out the night before is also a great time saver; there are a fewer arguments in the morning

  • Purging is my first order of business! I have to go through things like clothes, toys and books and get rid of things we no longer need, want or use!

  • This summer we had so much fun doing things and enjoying the beautiful weather. I tidied here and there but now that we are back to routine, I am definitely getting things back in order and giving the house a very thorough clean from top to bottom.

  • Kids are grown now but would always and still do organize the winter clothes and make sure they are clean and ready for the first shot of snow and winter. I pack away the summer things so there is more room and things are easy to find.Anything that doesn’t fit or we don’t wear I donate.

  • My kids are finally at the age where they can be expected to put away their items when they are done with them SO that has made our home organisation MUCH easier!

  • I am getting our home organized by working on handling things once, rather than shuffling them aside and doing a better job of planning and scheduling.

  • I am decluttering one room at a time and donating anything I do not need to a local charity. I also am getting rid of any paper daily as it enters the house, by filing, answering the mail or recycling

  • We go through and sort out unnecessary items we can sell or giveaway. My new motto is if I’m not using it there is no point in storing it.

  • So far I have made so many frozen meals in bags as well as muffins & cookies to help save time & money to organized for school!

  • Trying to catch up on the things we didn’t get done this summer that we wanted to like refinishing deck and restaining the shed.

  • The shelves in my closet broke down last week, right now they’re just being held with duck tape but I don’t know how much longer that’s going to last. And not having neatly folded clothes has ruined my entire schedule and life balance it sucks. This would be of great help!

  • Now that the kids are out of the house for the day, I am finally getting to cleaning out their toys. I have never thrown out a toy, and it is long overdue!!!

  • My husband and I updated our home entertainment system, sending items (some over 17 years old) to the ecostation, and getting rid of so many cables, connectors, etc.

  • Actually I’m getting quite a lot done! I’m fixing and painting walls, cleaning all the wall hangings and pictures, light fixtures.

  • I’m renovating the kitchen and getting rid of a lot of small appliances that I never use so I can organize my cupboards a bit better,

  • I think I’m doing Ok, I don’t really get to do much, but still need to find a solution to the problem of all the school papers, forms and notes lying on the counter “so I won’t forget about them”.

  • Since I’m a teacher, adding a note for myself “organize my home” into my daily plans is a must! And it helps keep me on task. 😉

  • September always feels like the beginning of a new year to me, so I do another spring/fall cleaning, and get the house ready for the winter!

  • I tried to have boxes for toys in family room and then get them to use to put their shoes backpacks in the designated spot after school. I tried to have organizer on their desk so that pens, pencils etc. would all in one place

  • We have a small entry way and no mud room but yet manage to stay organized. Everyone has their own basket, hook, hangers and shelves (built at back of closet close to bottom) to place things, so as long as we all follow this plan, things stay pretty tidy. The mud/puddles etc is another matter lol.

  • I am not going back to school and I am mostly organized.
But I would describe my room as cluttered or looking disheveled.
All of my storage solutions are years old and outdated.

  • I Finally got a cabinet for all my knitting supplies. I had yarn stashed all over my house. It feels so good to just go to one organized spot and find what I’m looking for. I’m ready for fall projects. Next it’s time to organize our garage..a much bigger job and not near as much fun for me. Thank you for this Great Giveaway 🙂

  • I organized the front entrance with space for their backpacks and shoes so that soon as they come in they have somewhere for their stuff!

  • I am in the process of decluttering my home by going through our closets and donating what we no longer need! It feels good to get rid of so much stuff!

  • I bought extra storage bins from Dollarama to get all of the office cupboards organized. It makes for less clutter!

  • Fall is here! I have to make our living space organized as the kids bring home stuff from school and other activities. The kitchen is where everyone comes to together and is hard to keep organized. A good place to start for us!

  • Getting the laundry/mud room ready by installing hooks for jackets and backpacks and getting a bench with shoe storage underneath

  • I always think of Sept as a new beginning. So out with the old and I try and declutter. Then I buy new baskets for the front hall table and hopefully things will find their way into them instead of on the floor.

  • For starters, i have both of the kids cleaning up there pig sty’s. haha
Getting rid of somethings, our well is dry so cleaning is at a bare minimum. Once we get some water i’ll really dive into the spring cleaning.

  • I’m Getting My Home Organized By Cleaning Out Closets And The Garage. I’m Adding Shelves To Maximize Storage Space.

  • I’m trying to organize by making lunches the night before and making sure all our school supplies are located in one spot.

  • i get organized by going through , summer clothes and tossing what is stained and donating what can be and putting everything in bins and doing a major house clean up and tossing, recycling and donating as i go

  • My daughter is in college so she’s responsible for getting herself off to school. I’m storing away sandals and summer clothes.

  • Setting up the school supplies in the desk. making lots of to do lists. did back to school shopping. Stocking up on lots of variety for lunches.

  • Now that school is back in we have taken several steps to get organized. There is a place for everything from the moment we get in the door and a routine. Shoes & coats go away, hats & umbrellas, keys in the same place every day, place for the backpack and lunch kit. We’ve prepared a comfortable area for doing homework and another area for reading. Water bottle and reusable containers have a readily available spot. Even school snacks have their spaces in the cupboard and refrigerator. Sunscreen at the ready with the morning routine and vitamins. Still…I would welcome a gift certificate to incorporate things to make everything more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Not everything has to be out in the open and visible.

  • I went through all my kids closets to donate all the items they no longer fit before bringing anything new into the house again.

  • We live in a small space, so we do spring cleaning, as well as summer, fall and winter cleaning! For fall, its a matter of seeing if we can improve our storage space by adding some shelving.

  • My boys are grown, but, when they were young, we had a little drop off station for backpacks, keys and coats so that they were easy to find in the mornings.

  • I still have boxes to unpack from my move in January. I am in the market for a desk and some shelves now that September is here.

  • Last winter I vowed to have ALL spaces free of clutter at the same time & so far I have failed. My fav de-cluttering style is to clean off one surface (desk, table, counter) & pile everything without a home on a different surface or on the floor or desk in the back bedroom. I just started again today & I’m hoping I can manage this time, I just have my hubby’s dresser & the entire back room to go through. Then I can start on the basement. lol

  • Reorganize my back space so all the kids have their own buckets/hooks so they all have their own space for jackets/books, etc

  • We keep all the kids socks in our entry way bench drawer so that when we get ready to leave the house no one has to run back upstairs for socks. It still amazes me how much better the kids get out the door just by that simple thing.

  • I’m organizing the cabinet where we keep school art projects and other work that comes home during the school year. Need to make more room!

  • I have been going through all my kid’s clothes, including outer/winterwear. I have also been decluttering my kitchen to make mornings and lunch packing easier!

  • Not really organizing, but I’ve got a ton of painting and staining projects on the go. Already did the deck, now need to do some interior doors and trim.

  • im tackling my spare room or “junk room” right now. hopefully getting it organized, giving away a lot of clutter!

  • Going through all the kids toys and clothing that they either don’t play with anymore or is too small for them and donating it because Christmas will be here soon enough.

  • we are doing a chore each and every night to ensure the house stays tidy, and we are organizing backpacks and lunches the night before.

  • I am reorganizing my entry way. I am creating specific places to put mail, coats, shoes and backpacks vs being dumped on the floor!

  • I’ve been going through my closet and all of my clothing. Getting rid of, donating and organizing everything in my closet!

  • I am getting my home organized now that school is back in, by decluttering first, and then using bins and boxes to be organized, and also preparing for change of season swapouts with fall / halloween and winter bins.

  • We just got a much bigger book shelf for my son’s room to organize his many, many books-things are looking a lot neater all ready.

  • Putting everything in a specific place to make mornings faster (and a checklist on the door so I don’t miss anything!) and batch cooking with a list (also on the back of the door….it’s the best place to put my lists so I don’t miss them!*l*)

  • We’re getting organised by going through our storage room, sorting things to keep or throw away. With school being in, there is room and peace of mind at home to sort things.

  • We went through all closets and all clothes and shoes that do not fit were all donated. It’s win win because you feel good about less clutter but also for donating items to those in need.

  • I sorted all fall jackets and mitts/toques, shoes. Got rid of what was small and ratty! Cleaned up the front closet really well! I like the signing forms the night before. We do that here too

  • Full on cleaning the house of all things that are no longer used or don’t fit! Most of this gets consigned or sold online for a little extra cash.

  • At the end of the school year, it’s a bit frantic to try and sort through art and school projects that have been brought home. I find that it’s good to go through these items about a week before school starts so, we can have a bit of ‘review’ of the past year, and share our thoughts/goals for the new academic year. I also go through the kitchen cupboards; sift through lunch containers and the snack cupboard and both of our dressers. I find that this helps my child and I prepare for the new school year; both physically and mentally.

  • With the cooler weather coming we are going through our fall and winter clothes and throwing out, donating, repairing, and cleaning.

  • I take the winter clothes out of storage and put summer clothes there. I also have my daughter go through her toys and donate what she wants to give to charity!

  • I’ve been putting off an office clean out all Summer. Now that the weather has turned I actually feel like being indoors. Home Depot has provided both me and my husband shelving and baskets for both our offices in the past.

  • I’m going through drawers and cupboards and closets, and purging. I’ve put up shelving everywhere, and am slowly getting there~!

  • I have our “homework bucket” back in order for the new year. The kids know to put their agendas and any homework related items in there for me to go through.

  • With back to school I find it a good time to inventory toys and get rid before the Christmas rush comes and while they are distracted with new season.

  • We are doing lots to get organized, starting out by purging items we don’t need. Also working on better organizing things better such as our pantry, and all areas of our house.

  • The girls are now in school and I teach them the skill of getting organized and planning. They are responsible of preparing their lunches the night before and when they come home from work they have to empty their backpacks and organize what they need to accomplish for the next day.

    • Still catching up on winners Jen, if there’s no winner’s name listed it means the draw hasn’t been done yet. 🙂
