Tide Stain Warriors Challenge – Tomato Soup!

Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom ambassador. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and have been compensated to put Tide to the stain test. The opinions on this blog are my own.

As a Tide Stain Warrior (I’d totally get that bumper sticker), I get to conduct a bunch of fun stain-creating challenges with my family, and my family gets to cautiously do it while keeping one eye on me to ensure I don’t freak out.

I admit it, I’m a bit of a control-freak mom especially when it comes to the kids getting messy, along with the tables, floors, and walls around them. So, these challenges have been a challenge for me as well, to relax and have fun and let them be messy. Thankfully, the program also supplies white t-shirts for testing so I don’t have to worry about any of the kid’s clothing being stained. As you’ll see at the end of this blog post, I was pleasantly surprised at Tide Ultra Stain Release’s ability to get out stains beyond the white t-shirt tests too.

April 6th was National Tomato Day (of course there’s a day for everything!) so we celebrated (because, why not?) with tomato soup and BLT’s at home. One of my favorite lunches, it offers the satisfaction of crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, yummy bacon, warm soup and also scratches the roof of my mouth in a way no other meal can.

There you have it! The tomato soup, and tomato liquid all came out, and I’ll admit I was a little nervous! Now I know, should the kids get a tomato or ketchup stain on their clothes, a quick pre-treat with Tide Ultra Stain Release will take care o fit.

Now, take a look at an off-campaign test I did. This wasn’t one of our Stain Warrior challenges this month, but the opportunity presented itself and I had to know.
Tide Ultra Stain Release

Can Tide get out grass stains from jeans, the grass stains that my son comes home with every day after school regardless of how many times I sigh and grumble about it?

Tide Ultra Stain Release

I pre-treated with Tide Ultra Stain Release and then used the brush on the lid to work the product in. I then washed in warm water, popped it in the dryer, and waited to see the final result.

Tide Ultra Stain Release

Again, Tide impressed me! Especially because of how light and worn the knees on the jeans are, I expected a stain to be left behind. The jeans were grass stain free! At least until the next time he wore them. And…repeat.
