Sears 12 Days of Giving

Starting today, December 1st, something pretty amazing is happening with Sears Canada and it’s worth sharing! Synonymous with Christmas (Sears Wish Book dog-eared, items circled, or pages torn out and added to your Santa letters, anyone else?) Sears Canada is celebrating the 12 Days of Giving Campaign – 12 activities taking place over 12 consecutive days to celebrate the holidays by giving back to people and organizations across Canada.

Sears 12 Days of Giving

The Sears 12 Days of Giving site will be updated each day with photos from the events of each day and a photo-stream that will be updated daily as well. You can follow along each day, beginning December 1st, to find full details of the activity of the day online at Sears12DaysOfGiving.ca or on Twitter @SearsCA. You can also follow the hashtag #12DaysofGiving on Instagram and Twitter for pictures, videos and more from each event.

Here’s what’s happening today, the very first day of Sears 12 Days of Giving: It’s National Volunteer Day! Sears will launch the 12 Days of Giving with long-standing partner the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada. Sears employees from across Canada will volunteer a portion of the day to the local Boys & Girls Club or, where there isn’t an official club, the store’s local charity partner.

You can visit Sears12DaysofGiving.ca to see what’s happening each day, and after visiting I suspect you may want to stop by a Sears location on certain days – looks like Santa isn’t the only one adding some surprise and delight this holiday season!
