A few weeks ago, I was at a local mall with my kids, strolling through the holiday displays and storefronts vying for shopper’s attention. And then I saw it, and made a beeline for it! No, it wasn’t a beautiful jewelry display or a sweater sale – it was a Hickory Farm kiosk! For years, our family has loved Hickory Farms during the holidays and we were equally happy to see that this location was ready for the holidays in the middle of November.

  • I don’t have a Hickory Farms around me but I remember as a child going to a mall with my parents that did indeed have one. They would always purchase from the store at Christmas. I loved the look of the store. It was done all in wood. It was like being in a western. They always had a lady dressed in costume handing out delicious samples.

  • My mother often bought one at Christmas and I really liked the sausage and crackers but I was less enamoured of the cheeses so I have not purchased any since I was an adult. I should really go by and try the cheese ones again -I am sure I would not find them the same.

  • I have seen them in the mall, but mostly on our trips to the US. We love their products, and since my Aunt and Uncle lived across the border from us we have been lucky enough to enjoy their products for years – they are much more prominent in the malls just across the border.

  • I have actually never tried Hickory Farms I grew up in the Maritimes and they just weren’t there, so I never though much about it.

  • They used to be in thee mall every Chrismas season. I havent seen them there for years. We always liked going in and tasting their cheeses! We like their products for sure!
