Working from home can get pretty crazy. I mean, what with the chance meeting of a delivery guy on my doorstep (while I’m still in a housecoat and slippers, yay), the opportunity to clean up multiple spills during the day from my preschooler or labradoodle, or the never ending cycle of cleaning that doesn’t happen when you work in an actual office away from home. Yep, it’s a glamorous life, people.
So, I know this is going to sound weird when I say that Downy Unstopables in wash scent booster kind of changed my work-at-home life. These little Downy balls of happiness has made me want to do laundry during the day, so that my house smells delicious as a result and – oh yeah – my laundry smells pretty amazing too. Now, Downy Infusions Liquid adds even more scent magic! Did you know –> Most fabric softeners contain a single scent. Hooray! The site gives you a great laundry-scenterific-tutorial on how to mix and match Downy Infusions and Downy Unstopables to gain the ultimate in scented freshness! Take a look though the many combinations and see if what you have in your laundry room is part of the mix.
Here are my favorites based on a very scientific scenterific study:
First, to keep everything consistent, I use unscented Tide detergent (otherwise I find all the scent combinations are influenced by the Tide scent). After that, it’s up to you, do you like fresh and ‘loud’ fragrance or soothing and ‘soft’? If you picked loud, I suggest Downy Infusions Sage Jasmine with Fresh Unstopables – the scent combo is strong and perfect for towels, bedding, jackets and any other item that may be stored for a longer length of time. If you like fun and funky, I’d suggest combining Downy Infusions Citrus Spice with Lush Unstopables – the mixture of sweet plus soothing is yummy on my kid’s clothing. Next, if you like soothing and soft, my absolute favorite is Downy Infusions Lavender Serenity with Dreams Unstopables – oh my! This combo is what I like to wash the adult’s clothing in the house in (and my housecoat, ha!)

I have tried them and I love the scent..yes it does fill the house with great scent but I do my laundry on the weekend when the cost of hydro is low
okay – never thought of mixing and customizing. I have tried a sample of the Downy Unstopables just recently and loved the end result. The sample of Downy Infusions was too thick and I had to water it down for my machine to dispense it. I’m wondering if my sample was just ultra thick for some reason.
I haven’t tried the infusions yet but have tried all the unstoppables. My favorite are Dreams and Glow. Love those scents.

I love the aqua unstopables. Especially for sheets and towels but really for all my wash. I did a load of stuffs with them and it makes the kids’ room smell nice and clean! I haven’t tried Infusions yet though.

Apparently no perfume smells good on my crocodile skin (according to my family anyways)! they are always complaining how overpowering my frangrance is,,,any fragrance (I have dozens), even just one squirt,,,,,,,so I have resorted to smelling amazing with Downy Unstopables, they love the smells of the sheets and of my sweaters #cuddlesesh, and the soccer uniforms are still fresh even thought the kid is NOT #ewww #puberty. xoxo Ambs.

I received a sample of Dreams and really liked the scent, but it was sold out when I went to purchase it and I ended up buying Glow, which I love. I haven’t tried mixing them with the Downy Infusions, but the Citrus Spice sounds amazing!

I love the Downy Unstopables , I use them when I wash all the curtains and anything & everything in the house that is made of cloth. They hold the scent in for such a long time and when the windows are open the scent goes thought the air!

I have tried the unstoppables and love the scent they leave behind on sheets and clothing. We use the blue one (not sure what scent it is off hand). My step mom loved the smell so much when she stayed at our house and slept in the spare room that she went and bought some right after.
