Are you ready? The soccer season is kicking off with a national contest from BMO!
BMO (Bank of Montreal) is looking for Canada’s most spirited soccer cheers! They want Canadians across the country to submit their teams most enthusiastic team cheers for the chance to win a trip to attend a Major League Soccer (MLS) game! No worries, no Steven Spielberg expert camera skills needed here, parents. You can simply use your video camera or even your smart phone to capture the cheer – this contest is about the enthusiasm and cheer, not about the production itself, so pull out those cameras and have fun!
Youth soccer players aged 7-12, from any team at any level can enter and every entrant will receive a BMO water bottle and special offer to open a BMO kids account. Over the duration of the program, up to 100 teams each week will be randomly selected to receive a $75 gift card to cover team expenses! And finally, in September, one team will win a Grand Prize of a trip for all players and coaches to attend an MLS game!
That’s an amazing contest from BMO that I hope helps teams across Canada celebrate soccer and of course add a little $75 prize back to the team expenses too! The winning team will certainly create memories to last a lifetime – can you imagine that prize announcement?
BMO proudly supports soccer in Canada – they are sponsors of the Canadian Women’s and Men’s National team, and also Major League Soccer Teams in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. They also sponsor almost 20,000 house league soccer players across Canada! I had no idea BMO had roots in soccer to this extent in Canada!
Canadians can submit their team’s cheer video to BMOSoccer.com until September 26, 2014 – with up to 100 teams each week winning a $75 gift card, there’s plenty of opportunity for teams to win!
