I wouldn’t be without my smart phone anymore (contrary to what I said years ago when I got my first cell phone), as it is customized completely to my preferences for photos, email, games, and even my favorite music. The place where a smartphone falls short, and where Logitech x100 Mobile Wireless Speaker comes in, is SOUND quality for listing to all your favorite tunes.
I was amazed at the small, fit in the palm of your hand, speaker that arrived. I was quite skeptical of the sound/quality that this little hockey puck shaped speaker would produce after purchasing other so-called “wireless speakers”. These other (failing) versions produced such a static and strained sound that it was hardly worth the effort to connect to. After picking up the Logitech X100 speaker from the mail, I decided to try it right there and then in my car for the drive home. It was simply FANTASTIC and is now the new “stereo” for my car. I hate to say it, but I’m not a fan of the radio and having the ability to play the music I want, with outstanding quality is really awesome.
The go-anywhere speaker comes fully charged, so you can start to use it right away. It is a breeze to sync via Bluetooth, and the clarity and volume that comes from this little thing is impressive; so much so that I have on many occasion attempted to turn the volume either up or down in my car, before realizing it’s the little speaker giving such impressive sound. In addition to streaming music, users can also manage phone calls (for phones that support Bluetooth-Hands-Free) and control volume – all
thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity.
Personally I keep this little speaker in my car all the time. It’s great to simply sync to on the way TO work every day, and on the way home from work and to enjoy MY music (commercial free), rather than the radio. I’m thinking that this speaker would also be great to take to any number of places given that it is so portable, and has a rechargeable lithium battery that lasts up to 5 hours of continuous play. I can see this being great for camping, by the pool, on the beach, at the cabin, or even just for chillin’ with a cold beverage on the patio. The possibilities are really endless.
